DrillNATION Magazine annually maintains interesting articles related to life in Junior ROTC. Past stories have featured military icons such as: Recruit Training Command - Parris Island; New York Military Academy - West Point; U.S. Naval Academy; The Navy Blue Angels; The Air Force Thunderbirds; USMC Silent Drill Platoon; U.S. Army Old Guard; and the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.

Interesting, thought provoking topics are also written on as well, including: How to Form a Drill Team; The Gender Gap; Fiscal Follies 101; JROTC Drill in Texas; What to Look For in a Quality Drill Event; JROTC - Good for America; and How Do You Become a Champion?...Practice, Practice, Practice.

DrillNATION magazine remains an annual publication which spawned the DrillNATION.net website several years ago. DrillNATION.net is without parallel, allowing like-minded cadets, instructors and parents to have a voice and share a community that is devoted to the many items that are passionate to these individuals. Real-time, chat, newsgroups and message boards, competition links, and many other amazing items are available at the click of a mouse, all in a moderated forum for safe and easy use..

The DrillNATION magazine annually also features a detailed analysis of the Army Nationals, the Army Junior ROTC Championship, the NJROTC Academic, Athletic and Drill Championship, and the Air Force-only Air Force JROTC National Drill Championship. All of these fine JROTC drill competitions are managed by Sports Network International. Additional JROTC events such as the Nationals Drill Camp and the U.S. Army Nationals Raider Challenge events are also featured. These events annually bring together a solid corps of hard-working Junior ROTC cadets from all walks of life. In the 2015 magazine, the SNI Informational DVD was included to give viewers a look at the rich history and broad offerings made available from SNI to programs worldwide.

Every Summer, SNI provides an all-service JROTC camp where cadets can learn from some of the best instructors on the planet Inspection, Regulation, Color Guard and Exhibition techniques and skills. The Nationals Drill Camp has grown in popularity and size and now maintains 125 cadets organized into ten platoons of armed and unarmed cadets eager to learn. The learning is almost non-stop in this 7 day/6 night festival of fun. The camp date are always released for the following year within this publication.

The magazine also features information on many non-drill related activities hosted by SNI as well. The world of Raider has exploded and the all-service JROTC championships are hosted by SNI. The National JROTC Raider Championships are held each year in early November in Molena, Georgia. Because of this, DrillNATION maintains a great deal of information on this event as well. The companion event, the National JROTC Fitness Challenge Championships are held each Spring within the first weekend of May during the Nationals weekend in Daytona Beach, Florida. Many Raider teams attend the fitness championships with the future leaders to get a jump on training. Having 1,000 cadets competing on the shores of Daytona Beach is an action never to be forgotten by these hard working cadets within male, mixed and female teams.

While the magazine features many items, nothing within the pages of DrillNATION is more sought after than the scores, photographs, results and highlights from the recently completed Nationals competition. This includes the center spread of DrillNATION which contains the official invitation to attend the following year Nationals. The internationally famous Nationals event is held each year in the late Spring at the Ocean Center Arena & Conference Center in sunny Daytona Beach, Florida.

The DrillNATION Magazine, as well as the DrillNATION.net website, attempts to provide the finest cadets in the world the proper showcase to glorify their talents and give to them the recognition they richly deserve. The dedication and sacrifice these cadets, instructors and parents undertake on their quest for excellence is noteworthy. Sports Network International strongly believes that the DrillNATION platform provides the perfect vehicle to showcase the outstanding drill programs that annually make the trip from across the United States to attend the premier drill competition in the world, the National High School Drill Team Championships.
