INTRODUCTION: The MCJROTC Drill Nationals are held in the CYA Fieldhouse in suburban Chantilly, Virginia. The facility will have a concession stand and scores of restaurants within 1.75 miles of the facility. It is an expansive building and we have been welcomed by those in charge with open arms. There is NO parking charge nor admission fee of any kind to gain entry.
DIRECTIONS, ENTRY & PARKING: For driving directions, please use this handy Google Maps Guide to the Fieldhouse. Simply put in your address and you will get the directions directly to the facility.
Plenty of parking is available. Please read carefully regarding where YOU should be parking at the competition. First, here is the site diagram that shows both the facility and the parking available. As you can see, general spectator parking is available down the entire length of the facility, as well as deep into the parking area in front of the entrance for those with cars or small vans. Those with larger vans or buses may pull into the parking lot and circle the main entrance parking and drop off at the main entrance before parking their vehicles on the large street adjacent to the building. VIP and Event Staff parking is reserved on the far side of the main entrance parking area as noted on the site diagram. NOTE: DO NOT park across the street in the office park as that is unauthorized and you may be towed. All spectators are requested to use the main entry for the facility only for primary egress. Those schools moving in large crates, racks and other cumbersome items are encouraged to use the rear entry doors and roll-up area AFTER 11AM ONLY!
NEARBY FOOD OPTIONS: While there is food in the facility, those looking for chain fast food and restaurants have many options. The closest is the Wendy's at 4070 Airline Parkway, Chantilly, VA 20151 less than a mile away. It opens at 10am. But there is a main center just over two miles away that has 50 food options of all types. We would suggest a phone call to the establishment you may wish to use, thereby giving them a call to ensure in advance they will be open and they have the size and other items that meet your groups needs.

SNI WILL MAINTAIN BASIC 1ST AID SERVICES ON-SITE. SNI REMINDS EVERYONE THAT CALLING 911. If the suggested option of more advanced medical care is required, if the injured person can be safely moved, PLEASE COME TO THE SCORING TABLE / FIRST AID AREA AND 911 CAN BE SUMMONED AS NEEDED. If not, please send a representative to the scoring table and we will summon medical assistance ASAP.
ALL TEAMS ARE FURTHER REMINDED THEY SHOULD KEEP WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES BASIC FIRST AID EQUIPMENT.
