Many people over the years have asked about off-campus hotels we would recommend. These questions have come from JROTC instructors attending the NDC who do not wish to stay in the dorms, as well as from parents/chaperones who are seeking a hotel to spend a night or two (or the entire week) while their youngsters attend the camp.
Below you will find several suggested hotels we have worked with for years in all price ranges. Certainly you are not required to use these properties, but these are properties we know do a good job for our valuable guests and they are relatively close to the campus. You should look on Hotels.com or similar sites to seek well-rated deals but these are places we know have been well received by our guests in the past.
All of the properties listed below will require transportation as none are within walking distance to the training areas and dorms in use for the NDC. Also remember, if you are planning to park on campus MONDAY through FRIDAY for any extended hours, you will need to obtain a TAMU Summer Parking Pass. The only other option is hourly charges in the parking garages which can get pricey rather quickly.
